I currently serve as Creative Director at Creativebug, leading the design team from all aspects including brand, user experience and marketing. I have 20+ years experience in graphic design, illustration, post-production, web design and art instruction, creating successful products that customers love. I enjoy collaborating with my content, development and marketing teams to drive vision, strategy and execution. Hands-on is my happy place — whether it’s on set, retouching images, or seeing a campaign through with my team from initial concept to design completion.
In my spare time, I’m a paper maché artist and enthusiast. I use only sustainable, repurposed materials in my art — or as I like to say, garbage art! I’m also an instructor on Creativebug, teaching paper maché and colored pencil pet portrait classes. I love the melding of my two worlds that occasionally happens on the job. I currently live in Vancouver, Washington with my husband, my daughter, a very obese cat and one jerk of a dog who is just too cute to face consequences.
